Ace is no ordinary golf ball. Freshly opened from his sleeve on the first tee at Whispering Pines, he is ready for the perfect round. But a single wayward swing sends him soaring into the woods, far from the fairway he calls home.
Found by a young golfer named Willie, Ace travels to courses near and far, from sun-drenched seaside links to mountain greens and tropical fairways. Along the way, he discovers that adventure is always waiting just beyond the rough.
But home has a pull all its own. Back at Whispering Pines, Ace meets Daisy by the pond, reunites with Buddy in the bag room, and discovers a whole community of balls, each with their own story, each with their own place.
