This is the same policy that governs your purchase at checkout. If the two ever differ, the copy on the store governs: read it there.

We publish picture books for young children, and parts of this site are made for a child to enjoy. We have built them so that we collect nothing from the child.
The account is always the grown-up’s. To buy anything or to open a locker room you must be eighteen or older. We ask the account holder for an email address. We do not ask a child for their name, their email address, their age, their birthday, their photograph, their voice or their location, and we do not ask a child to create anything we keep.
The Short Course, our page for children, collects nothing. It has no form, no sign-in, no price, no purchase button and no advertising. It does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Nothing a child does on that page is recorded against them or sent anywhere. The way back out is guarded by a grown-up question, which is there to slow a small child down — it is not a lock, and a child may get past it.
We do not advertise to children. We do not build profiles of children, we do not use children’s information for targeted or behavioural advertising, and we do not sell or share children’s personal information. We do not use anything a child does here to train machine-learning models.
If a child’s first name appears in your locker room, it is there because you, the grown-up, chose to put it there to make the story yours. It is used for that and nothing else. You can change it or remove it whenever you like from your locker room, or by writing to us. The same goes for anything you have us print on personalised merchandise: if you give us a child’s name for that, we use it to make and send that order, and for nothing else.
Parents’ rights. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to clubhouse@fairwayfriendsadventures.com and we will delete it. You may also ask us at any time to show you what we hold that relates to your child, to delete it, and to refuse any further collection — and asking will never cost you access to anything you have bought or any golf balls you have earned.
How long we keep it. We keep what is in your locker room for as long as it is open, because that is what lets you reach the books you own. If you close your locker room we will first show you everything in it and ask you to download what you want to keep and confirm you have it. We then delete the personal information within thirty days, apart from the transaction records that tax and accounting law requires us to keep.
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.
If you reside in the UK or European Economic Area, and subject to exceptions and limitations provided by local law, you may exercise the following rights in addition to the rights outlined above:

Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.
