For the Golf World

Golf Media, Associations and Pro Shops

Built for golf editors, association directors, junior program leaders and green grass retail. Everything on this page is yours to use, and everything on it is checkable.

The fact that makes this a story

The best-selling children’s golf book was published in 1999. In the twenty-seven years since, the category has stayed mostly alphabet books, board books for toddlers, and instruction. No one has built a narrative adventure with a returning cast for the read-aloud years.

Golf has produced a century of great writing for adults and almost nothing that a four-year-old asks for twice. That is the gap Fairway Friends Adventures was built to fill.

Why it matters to the golf world specifically

Every association, club and junior program in the country works on the same problem: how a child comes to love the game before they can play it well. The equipment aisle answers that with smaller clubs. Nobody has answered it with a story.

A child who is read to about a golf course at four arrives at one at seven already believing they belong there. That is the argument, and it is the reason this book exists.

For associations and junior programs

For pro shops and green grass retail

The children’s shelf in most pro shops is toys and miniature apparel. A hardcover storybook sits at a different price point, sells to grandparents as easily as parents, and does not date. Bulk terms are on the Pro Shop page and we answer enquiries the same day.

What the world includes

The origin, for anyone writing about us

A Titleist Pro V1 with a phone number on it in red marker, lost at Lakeview Golf Club in Belmont, New Hampshire, turned up months later in the hand of a stranger named Evan on the tenth green at Cape Breton Highlands Links in Nova Scotia. He had just parred the hole with it. He lost it again on the twelfth. The full telling, with the verifiable details, is in the Press Room.
